What is the Currency.com Card?

The Currency.com Card is a virtual Visa Platinum card that lets you use your USDC balance anywhere Visa is accepted — online, in-app, and at ATMs worldwide. It provides smooth worldwide access that doesn't depend on a bank account or credit history.

How do I get a card?

After completing the profile verification process (KYC) in your Currency.com account, the card becomes available to order in the Cards section of the app. Once requested, your virtual card is issued instantly and ready to use immediately.

Do I need to have a Currency.com account first?

Yes. The card is available exclusively to verified Currency.com account holders. If you don't have an account yet, sign up at currency.com and complete verification, which usually includes identity verification and proof of address. The process is automated and takes an average of 5 minutes.

Can I order the card for free?

Yes. No card order fee applies for the virtual card. However, a minimum USDC balance is required.

Can I add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes. Once your virtual card is issued, you can add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay and use it for contactless payments at any store that accepts these wallets.

Who can get the Currency.com card?

The ability to receive the card may depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to the country of residency of the applicant. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
